not a bad idea right?

listening while reading

I added a new feature to listen to a song related to the post so play that before reading.

Okay it's fucking time to do something I actually want to and it's crazy. This is a social experiment I know but I love this idea. I've been attending the Farza 3x3 sessions and they've been really helpful in getting me into the mindset of building and they helped me awaken the flow state that I have and just build stuff. This is a project I really wanted to do: a social app. I've been really inspired by Mark Zuckerberg and him building Facebook and I realized social media hasn't changed at all since a very long time. We had Facebook, we had Instagram, we had Reddit. What I love about Reddit is the anonymity but the problem is that across campuses that just does not work well. There's a lot of noise in the app.

What I'm going to work on is shit that can almost send me to jail something that changes the campus-wide landscape forever. What I want to work on is called Hot Goss. It's very simple: a campus-wide anonymous social app. People can simply hop on, sign in, come on the platform, and start posting the most absurd but real shit - anything they have on their minds. They want to talk about it, it's on the platform. It's completely anonymous. You can choose your own generated username. You just pick one, you can write your own, or you can just auto-generate it. You're in the platform now you can start posting from there and everyone on the campus will be able to see it. It's related to your college specifically at least for now. You can post events, you can talk about some very cool shit - maybe a dude who cheated on his girlfriend, maybe how the CEO's daughter probably slept with this very bad-looking dude. Anything that has life to it will become live in this platform and this is low-key something that can get me a lot of trouble but guess what? I'm actually excited for it. It's time to change something that has not been changed for a long time and I couldn't be more excited for it.
